How Can painful Urination Along With Vomiting In A Child Be Treated?
My 5 year old son has had vomiting during the day (3x). Order of events: Breakfast (eggs and OJ) around 9:30am ET, vomiting around 10:45am ET, about 3 bites of Irish Soda bread around 11:30 (per his request), vomiting again around 2:00pm, a couple of ounces of ginger ale around 4:00pm, following by vomiting again around 4:30pm. Nothing for dinner per his request. No fever, but is now saying he is having painful urination and is crying that his stomach hurts. Can this wait until the morning to see his usual pedi?
There may be some Inflammation in the stomach leading to all his symptoms. He should be shifted on a liquid diet to provide rest to the stomach and rehydrate with ORS. In case of severe symptoms Consult a Pediatrician.
